A major attraction of the region is its postproduction facilities. An abundance of editing facilities, especially in HDTV, have helped the region earn its international reputation. Nordic Film Lab and Digital Film Lab are two leading labs.

More than half a dozen Dolby THX mixing facilities and a wealth of music studios and concert halls suitable for symphonic recording have made the region a major supplier of soundtracks for movies in the European market. In fact, most other-language versions of Disney, Warner Brothers and DreamWorks animated features for the European market are recorded in the Oresund Region.
