The Oresund Region has one of the best developed public transportation systems in the world. Trains, buses and the Metro run on time, at intervals of 20 minutes or less. The choices are many and most people use public transportation in combination with a car or bicycle.

Crossing the Oresund
The Oresund Bridge was inaugurated in 2000 offering excellent, fast connections between Copenhagen and Malmö. The bridge accommodates cars and trains.

Meanwhile, ferries still cross the Oresund between Elsinore and Helsingborg 50 km north of Copenhagen, accommodating cars and passengers.
